Canopy Bed
A canopy bed has four sheer mesh material panels that attach at the ceiling and drape down over the four corners of the bed. Poster Bed

You can attach fabric panels inside a flat headboard or baseboard to create a frame-like design. Any fabric material, color or pattern works for this bed idea. You can glue the fabric on directly or use brads, bows or buttons to give the bed more decoration. You can also add padding behind the fabric to make the fabric piece pop out of the bed frame.
