Instructions


1. Remove the cooking grids carefully. For most grills, you can just lift them out of the unit. Refer to your grill's user guide for specific removal procedures.


2. Place the cooking grids on a large plywood sheet for cleaning.


3. Mix a small amount of dish-washing soap and hot water in a bucket. Soak a soft cleaning cloth in the soapy water and scrub the cooking grids. It may take some effort to remove stuck-on food particles. If necessary, lay a towel saturated with the hot water over problem areas and let sit to soften the particles.


4. Scrub the cooking grids with a piece of plastic mesh or soft-bristle brush designed for cleaning porcelain. Add a mild, abrasive cleanser made for stainless steel to remove grease and any remaining food particles.


5. Rinse the cooking grids thoroughly with warm, running water to remove residue. Keep the grids under the water until the porcelain feels clean and the water draining off is clear.


6. Dry the porcelain surface with a clean towel. Once dry, reinsert the cooking grids into the grill.
