Repair a Grohe Faucet Spray Handle
If your Grohe faucet features a spray handle and it clogs or has lower water flow than it used to, there is a way to fix it. Grohe faucets feature a cleanable screen, and some models even have a fast cleaning feature that allows cleaning with one hand. This is something any owner of a Grohe faucet can do every few months to keep their spray handle working to its full potential, and it does not require a plumber.
Instructions
1. Shut off the water to the faucet head by closing the valves under the sink.
2. Detach the sprayer head from the hose tube by turning it left and unscrewing it. Remove the filter and flow limiter located on the end of the sprayer head. Wash each thoroughly in water.
3. Place the faucet key on the front of the sprayer head and turn counterclockwise to unscrew the face of the sprayer. Remove the sprayer and the strainer (round mesh part) and rinse them in water.
4. Wipe the front of the sprayer with a towel to remove lime scale. If your faucet sprayer has SpeedClean spray head, wipe it with your fingers to get rid of lime scale.
5. Reassemble the parts. Place the sprayer head and strainer back together and tighten them with the key. Attach the sprayer head to the hose with the strainer and limiter.
