Hang A Candle Chandelier

Hang a Candle Chandelier

If you like the elegance and charm of a chandelier but do not want to bother with hiring an electrical contractor to install one, a candle chandelier is a good alternative. There are a few concerns that are particular to candles as opposed to electricity but they are still much easier to install yourself. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

1. Use a stud finder to find a ceiling stud in the area you wish to hang the candle chandelier. A stud finder is a device that will emit a light or beep when it is over a stud. Mark the ceiling with a pencil where you will hang the candelabra once you find the stud.

2. Use the drill to make a starting hole into the ceiling and stud. Place the ceiling hook into the hole and screw it in securely.

3. Attach extension cable or a chain between the candelabra hanger and the ceiling hook so that the candle flames will be at least 2 feet from the ceiling.

4. Hang the candelabra from its hook or the extension cable to the ceiling mount. Place the candles in the holders, securing them with a small amount of melted wax so they do not fall.
