1. Purchase rustic window treatments for your kitchen. Rustic window treatments are typically designed in natural colors such as brown, earthy orange, earthy red or earthy yellow. 2. Add a rustic rug to your kitchen d cor. The rug should match or complement the design of the chosen window treatments. A common place to add a rug to the kitchen is in front of the sink and the refrigerator.
