The house was built in 1915 and has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1976. The Veranda on Walnut features three guest rooms and suites. The Amanda Suite includes a queen-size canopied bed, a lounge, fireplace, television, coffee maker, refrigerator and private bath. The Christopher Suite features a king-size bed with a sitting room, television, fireplace, private bath with robe and slippers and coffee maker. The Falena room has a queen-size bed with a private bath and television. The Veranda on Walnut provides popcorn, teas and coffees for guests. A full breakfast is included in the room charge.

Wood Avenue Inn


Located in near downtown Florence is the Wood Avenue Inn. This Victorian mansion was built in 1889 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This inn offers five guest rooms, all uniquely decorated. Rooms include a king-size beds, private baths, two twin-size beds or queen-size beds. One room includes a private porch. To maintain "Victorian serenity", rooms do not have telephones or televisions. Both are available in the nearby game room and guest's lounges. All room fees include a romantic, candlelight breakfast.
