Decorate A Garden Themed Bedroom

You want your bedroom to be comfortable and inviting and decorating it in a garden theme is perfect for that. You can create a warm, welcoming and relaxing atmosphere by using unique outdoor items. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

Decorating a Garden-Themed Room

1. Grow fresh herbs on your windowsills. Growing herbs can add a splash of color to your bedroom, in addition to some wonderful scents. Grow rosemary, cilantro, mint or basil on your windowsills. Grow them in colorful pots. Make sure the pots are the well-draining type.

2. Add a small fountain. The sound of trickling water is very soothing. If you put the fountain on a bureau or other piece of furniture, make sure you protect the furniture with plastic or some other waterproof material.

3. You can also add other plants around the fountain, depending on where you place the fountain and the size of the fountain. If you do not want the upkeep of so many plants, use plastic plants and other foliage.

4. Bring in the wrought iron. You can choose a wrought iron wall hanging, or you can find a wrought iron screen to use as a room divider or a place to hang clothes. Wrought iron wall hangings are available in many different sizes and styles.

5. Bring in outdoor décor. Most decorative statues can also be brought inside and will look just as stunning inside as they do outside. You can use a birdbath to hold a plant or just have some plain statues around or near the fountain area, if your fountain is on the floor or a low table.

6. Carry the decorating over to your bathroom if you have a master bedroom suite. Choose a shower curtain that is country garden-themed. Add small plants in your bathroom if there is enough light. If not, you can add plastic plants. Carry the wrought iron décor into your bathroom by putting small wrought iron figures on the wall.
