Use Jb Weld

JB Weld may very well be the greatest thing since mechanics' wire and wire tie wraps. If you need to repair something metal and are not a welder or it can't be welded, try JB Weld for a temporary or long-term fix. Uses are limited only by your imagination. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

1. Decide whether to try to repair the item or get a new one. JB Weld can be used for almost anything made of metal, plastic, wood, or ceramic around the house, farm or on a vehicle. If the item is critical for bodily safety, however, it would probably be wise to replace it.

2. Clean all pieces thoroughly. Scrape rust and debris from metal and use solvent and a rag to clean off any oil or grease.

3. Mix equal portions of resin and hardener in an adequate amount to do the repair you have in mind. Use a disposable piece of plastic to mix on, such as a jar lid or clean food dish and a wooden paddle such as a tongue depressor or match stick.

4. Follow instructions on the JB Weld package or one of the tubes. Work quickly. The chemical reaction is starting when you can feel a little heat from the mixture and it will set up in a few minutes.

5. Clamp the pieces together or hold firmly until the glue is set, then let the JB Weld harden for the required length of time before using the item.
