Repair A Moen 7560w Faucet

The Moen 7560W faucet, which is called the Extensa model, features an arched neck with a pull-out spray unit. The cartridge, which is replaced if the unit starts to leak or experiences flow issues, is right inside the faucet head. Repairing the model takes about an hour if you have no experience with this type of repair. It is similar to repairing other Moen faucets with just a few exceptions, so it's important to follow the steps closely.

Instructions

1. Turn off the water.

2. Take out the plug button on the front side of the faucet handle and loosen the set screw with your Allen wrench, then pull off the handle. Remove the domed cap underneath the handle by unscrewing it.

3. Take off the entire spout by removing the mounting hardware under the base and lifting the spout up and off the faucet. This exposes the cartridge inside of the faucet head.

4. Remove the cartridge nut by turning it to the left with a pair of pliers or a wrench. Pull out the cartridge by hand.

5. Install a new cartridge into the faucet head, replace the nut and tighten it. Reassemble the faucet parts in the reverse order as you removed them.
